Redlands, Calif. -- Redlands swept a doubleheader from the visiting Bombers. In the opener, the Bulldogs tied the game in the bottom of the sixth and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Junior outfielder Leigh Bonkowski (The Williams School/Mystic, Conn.) had all three of Ithaca’s hits and scored the Bomber run.

In game two, Bonkowski and freshman first baseman Stacy Pelesz (Hudson/Livingston) each had two hits. Sophomore Mel Chinigo (Norwich Free Academy/Norwich, Conn.) drove in both Ithaca runs.
